It began with a quote and a very friendly and pleasant salesperson But that’s where the pleasantries stopped. 3rd party movers showed up and demanded more money. We got past that after a heated debate and I did not pay. 2 weeks later my move from Dallas, TX arrived in Portland, OR. The movers opened up the truck to reveal a torn mattress and over 50 boxes severely damaged and in some cases compressed to half of their original size. Fast forward to the claims process: COMPLETE SILENCE! US Movers position is that it is now a matter that must be resolved by a 3rd party claims handling company. Which could take 120 days to resolve. Do yourself a favor and find someone else. And if you have found yourself in this position, post a review and contact the Better Business Bureau. Their A+ rating is a joke.
