This was the Movers From Hell!! I used them when moving from Denton, Texas to Roswell, NM on December 21, 2017. First of all, they used the old ‘Bait & Switch’ routine, giving me a price around $4,000 when signing on with them, telling me I was getting a cheaper rate because it would be a “consolidated” move, meaning furniture from other families who were going the same direction, would be in the truck with mine, then charged me double, $8,000!! Cesar, one of the loaders, was insolent, condescending & extremely rude during the time he was loading my furniture. He & the others were also reckless when handling my inventory & the worst part was I did not receive many items that were on the inventory list, including the leaf to a kitchen table, several shelves from 2 or 3 bookcases, a prized sculpture that I’d had for over 30 years, a brand new weight scale, a child’s expensive scooter & other assorted smaller items. When I called after discovering the missing items, i was told I had no recourse, that what was done was done. They would not even look for my missing items. RUN, don’t walk from this company. The only good thing in my experience was a guy named Philip who was almost always available to try & answer questions I might have. The others I dealt with, including the unloading truck driver, ‘Michael’ was impudent & rude, managing to knock a ceiling fan from the ceiling while bringing a bed into the house at my destination, which cost me $150 to have reinstalled. He made a joke about it, & then had the audacity to ask, at the end of the unloading, if I wanted to tip him. I had already given a couple of his helpers a recliner, a refrigerator, an entertainment unit, & other assorted pieces of furniture. They were locals from Artesia, NM & were very nice. RUN…don’t walk from this so called ‘company.’ ?? THEY ARE BAD NEWS!!!
