We moved cross country from Chicago to Dallas on 7/2.we received our furniture yesterday in good shape. Guys where polite and quick. Price was a little on the higher side but all my furniture get here with no damage. Highly recommend it
I MOVED FROM CHICAGO TO BOSTON ON 9/21. THE CREW CAME ON TIME AND COMMUNICATION WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GOOD. THE MOVERS WERE VERY QUICK AND DELIVERY WAS DONE WITHIN 6 DAYS. ALL MY BELONGINGS ARRIVE IN GOOD CONDITION. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
WARNING: DO NOT EVER LET THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY MOVE/STEAL/DESTROY YOUR BELONGINGS. I rarely post reviews but am hoping it will prevent others from going through what I did. Zero Stars! If you do go with this company, here’s what you can expect: ADDED CHARGES at every step: I was initially quoted at roughly $3,300 and ended up paying over $5,300. I was called prior to pick up and gave dimensions of every item; upon arrival, without moving a single box, the movers stated I was over cubic feet, and I would need to pay an additional $580, or they would not move any items, and if I backed out of the contract at that time, I would forfeit the nearly $2,000 deposit. Upon delivery, an additional $300 was charged for miscellaneous reasons that were amongst the ultra-tiny fine print and not disclosed during negotiations. LATE DELIVERY: When signing the contract, I was promised my items would move from where I lived to the new destination directly within 4-7 business days. It took nearly three weeks, and my items were moved from WI to Chicago where they sat -either in a wet warehouse or outside before being reloaded on a new truck with different movers. STOLEN ITEMS: Many of my items never arrived – my bed, my bike, my desk, and all my tools. I’m sure there were other things as all my boxes and totes were at as I packed them and looked as if each had been rifled through. Some of the tops of the totes were missing and items were hanging out. My TV was not packed like it initially was and looked like someone pulled it out to see what kind it was and didn’t bother to repack it correctly in the water-damaged box. Certain items were not written down on the initial inventory, so the company refused to take responsibility or show the pictures they took of the loaded items. DAMAGED ITEMS: Antique bedroom sets, end tables (with missing and broken glass), bookshelves, couches, a TV, dishes, a vacuum, lamps, appliances, totes – all items that were destroyed or severely damaged. Wood items with gouges and scratches that would cost thousands to repair, TV damaged back panel and water damage, couch water damaged, comforter moldy and wet, appliances and lamps broken, and irreplaceable dishes shattered. CLAIM/CUSTOMER SERVICE: The customer service was awful – rude and disrespectful; movers’ blankets were wet; movers unloaded boxes and dresser upside-down – set nothing down gently, even with FRAGILE written all over the boxes. This co0mpany makes the process of submitting a claim nearly impossible. Items need receipts, weights, dates of purchase, photos with item and box number written on them, descriptions of items, descriptions of damage of each item, cost of each item, and more. The photos cannot be uploaded individually, so one must put them into a PDF showing all at once. If you stop working on it, it logs you out to restart the entire process. Before you submit, you need to sign away your rights and sign off to them having the right to drop the claim at any time for any reason or you cannot submit the claim. If you are to use this company, first, DON’T!!!; second, take a picture of every item, in every box, be sure every item is detailed on the inventory (and they didn’t make comments like “damaged” when the items were not damaged); third, read every word of the fine print terms and conditions – this was my fault for believing what they told me, rather than what I should’ve read; fourth, record every conversation you have with customer service – each will tell you something different; fifth, get the full insurance, or you will only get $0.60 for every lbs of what is missing or broken; finally, bubble wrap everything 4-5x at least – I figured bubble wrap with blankets, clothing, and packing material would suffice… not true. I am a young professional trying to make ends meet; I take pride in what I own and take very good care of my belonging. It was devesting seeing most of it destroyed and my personal items ransacked and not having a single person at this company show any regard for the items I paid for and trusted them to move. MSN Logistics Group Inc. (DBA Best Quality Movers) out of Skokie, IL moved our household goods and furniture from Chicago to Glendale, AZ. There are a number of things that went wrong but worst was that their truck with our goods, along with the possessions of two other parties, was in a rollover accident in Arizona. Accident happened on 6-3-21 and they did not advise us until the morning they were to deliver our items which was 6-10-21. According to the accident report, the driver was driving on a suspended license. Items were tossed out of the truck. At some point, a clean up crew came in and grabbed whatever was on the side of the road and put it into boxes. That meant there was red dirt/dust in all boxes and broken glass in many of the boxes. We ended up with over 8 boxes of items which were not ours. Out of 53 “boxes" – items also included vacuum, 6 ft plant, etc) they delivered 21 of our boxes. Many of the items in these boxes were destroyed. The vacuum, along with MANY other things including a valuable 4’x6’ vintage framed poster were missing. That is a large piece of artwork to just go "missing". I have asked for Manifests from MSN for when the truck left their warehouse after the initial pick up at our condo but they have not provided any. All our furniture was damaged and most will need to be replaced. MSN Logistics gave us back a portion of the shipping fee but they have not done anything else. They did tell us to file with movingclaims.com which is a joke. movingclaims.com offered $50 - yes 50 dollars to compensate for damage/loss of about $18,000. MSN Logistics Group/Best Quality Movers also tried to charge us another $1200 or $1400 when they arrived to pick up our items stating they would take up more space than Gold Standard Moving and Storage (our broker) told them we had. That was not the case as we actually had less boxes than we had planned to take. If you want a nightmare of a move, worst customer service and don’t care about receiving your items or in what shape they are delivered, contact them! If MSN Logistics Group Inc (Best Quality movers) responds to this and says any of it is untrue, I have emails, texts, pictures and everything documented to show the nightmare this company has caused us. We are just hoping enough people will see. After all this happened, I read their reviews and it seems there have been a number of complaints against them. Since we went with a broker, we did not know we would have MSN as our mover.
I was set up with MSN through National Express Moving, the broker, for a long distance move from Chicago to San Francisco. The movers were very professional with all my stuff for the pick up, my furniture items (for transparency I didn't have that much stuff compared to other big family moves) were packed very professionally and competently. It took a bit longer than I would have liked for my stuff to arrive - took about 3 weeks - but I understand moving during the summer is busy and with the economic situation there weren't enough drivers on the road. Their customer service was very nice and helpful whenever I would call them with questions. The delivery was efficient, all of my stuff got there in good condition and the driver/ movers for delivery were nice, professional, and competent. Moving is always extremely stressful but overall MSN did a good job with my specific situation.
Never ever use Razor Van Lines or MSN Logistics!!!!!.Total Scam!!!! This company should be shut down. I was charged one fee then charged another 6,000. Lied to from the start. My stuff sat in a warehouse for 21 days. Slept on an air mattress in an empty house for 21 days. They didn't even get all my things on the truck after going over the inventory list saying I had enough room for more stuff and then as the truck filled up he charged me more money and wanted cash to finish loading the truck. SCAM!!!! I had to leave things behind with family. Then it gets here and My bed was strapped on the outside of the moving truck. They had unloaded and reloaded my things with another person things. They damaged all my furniture, missing pieces of the bed could not set up, most of the boxes were smashed up and all my totes were broken. missing entertainment center and dollies and found other peoples personal property. Now they want us to file a claim which I'm sure will result in no compensation. SCAM!!!!
