SHADY ORGANIZATION! DO NOT USE U-TRUST MOVING — USE AT YOUR OWN PERIL AND DEMISE!

1/ 5

DO NOT USE U-TRUST MOVING! MY SUGGESTION – And, I was warned up front – Suck it up, seek out a large mover, United Van Lines…Mayflower…etc. and pay what they propose! You are going to get what you pay for and a lot less hassle. This is a horrible organization, and the worst experience we have ever had in 5 moves. U-TRUST was sub-contracted to move my wife and I from WA to ME. They scheduled the pick-up date for Saturday 11/23 between 8 – 10 am. they confirmed the date and time, but then the driver did not show up until 2.5 days later – they finally arrived on Monday late afternoon 11/25 around 4 pm. The driver and his helper loaded for an hour, disappeared and then came back and loaded until 11 or 11:30pm at which point they demanded more money from my wife, “or we will unload the truck.” with no explanation as to why. Of course she paid them, what else was she going to do at 11:30 pm, after they were 2 late? When I called to try and clarify why they had demanded more money, there was no explanation. PUNCTUALITY – NONE – As I mentioned above – The mover/driver did not show up on the schedule date – and, in fact, showed up 2 days after their assigned time/date, and even ten showed up 6 hours later than they said they would. And then at delivery, they did not show up at the scheduled time (8-10 am) and called and said they would not arrive until 7 pm, and could deliver the next day without charge. That of course changed and they charged us an additional $1000, which we paid to get our items. RESPONSIVENESS – NONE – U-TRUST Moving is horrible. Their staff is amazingly rude, because they know they can “lose” or “permanently delay” your items. We were told pointedly, “You are going to have to swallow any pride and suck up as much as you can to get your things delivered, or they may “disappear permanently”. QUALITY/VALUE – NONE – U-Trust Moving is in my opinion a complete contradiction of who this organization is. An estimate that was quoted as approximately $5K ballooned to nearly $12K, and money was regularly demanded throughout the process with no explanation. The support staff rarely returned calls, the drivers were not on time, and did not show any care with the items being moved, and they actually left items in the house we moved from, not to mention the damaged/lost items. And, again, there were repeated requests for additional money throughout the process, even when their team did not show up on time, and specifically stated there would not be any additional charges. And, they even asked for a tip at the end! Seriously? PROFESSIONALISM – Please – NONE – The mover/driver were late and rude. The support staff were not helpful, and rarely, if ever, returned calls. Just HORRIBLE Service! AGAIN, I WOULD WARN YOU NOT TO USE U-TRUST MOVING! THIS IS A HORRIBLE ORGANIZATION! As I stated up top, seek out a large mover, and pay their suggested invoice. I could have saved myself a huge headache, and still saved money on my move by doing so. This move cost me more money with U-Trust, than it would have with a big mover. AGAIN, USE U-TRUST AT YOUR OWN PERRIL!

TRAUMATIZING – assigned by Moving APT Broker

1/ 5

This company should be shut down. Definitely a front for another business. Kathleen at U-trust still appears in our nightmares. We were assigned this company through a broker – Moving APT. They accepted zero responsibility for our issues with U-trust and triaged us to quite possibly the most hostile woman in customer service. Our items were lost, damaged, left behind, packed without any consideration for the concept of gravity. Precious items lost needlessly. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If you need to use a broker b/c they are cheaper, confirm the quality of the movers they assign to you. We lost so much and was so incredibly stressed during an already stressful time.

20% of items broken or missing

1/ 5

Tons of broken and damaged items upon delivery. Their pickup and storage experts are morons. Office folks don’t know common customer service practices. Reporting to the BBB, state representatives for fraud, and reflecting this in their Google and Facebook reviews.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

1/ 5

The WORST moving experience of my life…

I was charged far more than I was quoted (and wasn’t informed of the extra charges until my belongings were already loaded on the truck.)

Many of my belongings and boxes never arrived, and those that did were damaged beyond repair (we’re talking thousands in loss and damages). Multiple boxes had been opened and my belongings were stolen (mostly camping gear and tools).

Upon delivery, I watched the movers toss many items out of the back of the truck and onto the pavement. Worst of all, ALL of my stuff was stacked in a corner of one room (think tetris), my large pieces of furniture were left upside down, and nothing the movers had disassembled at pick-up was re-assembled… I’m not even sure if all of the parts are present to re-assemble my furniture.

This company is absolute trash.

Dealing with this company has been the most stressful part of my husband’s and my cross-country move. First they were supposed to pick up during the day on 9/23, they called that day and said it would be the morning on 9/26. Then on 9/25 they called and said they were coming on that evening, around 6 PM. Upon picking up our items, we were told our original estimate was off and we had to pay more, their reasoning being there are some items that cannot be stacked on top of one another, so it takes up more space in the truck. Fine, OK, we paid – at that point our stuff was already in the van, didn’t have much of an option.

We then received a note that our belongs arrived at their Vegas depot where they then re-jigger all their moves to make the routes more efficient. Apparently the timeline of being delivered within 21 days started once they logged it in Vegas. They did not flag that meant 21 business days, which means 4+ weeks, not 3 as we thought.

The people at U Trust did not reply to our calls asking for updates and we finally got the direct number of our driver, which was helpful. He then kept us “informed” – on the day he told us he’d be in Raleigh, NC delivering our items, he was actually in Texas. But fine, it got sorted. Our items finally arrived at 6:20 AM on 10/30. Looking at the boxes, it was clear that no care was taken with any of our items and they clearly stacked things (although the extra $2,000 was because they couldn’t…). Both of our bedroom dressers were broken, along with an end table, 2 shelves and a lamp. They bent the stand on our 65 inch TV so it no longer stands level and completely lost my husband’s snowboard bag (with snowboard, bindings, and gear). They delivered a bed frame & sword (??) that was not ours, which we gave back to them and then later found in the trash room of our complex. Guess I know what happened to our snowboard! Once we realized the snowboard was missing, we contacted the driver who did not have it and then Kathleen at U Trust. Kathleen was not only unhelpful but was completely rude and hung up on my husband. We’re now resolving with the company who contracted out to U Trust and our attorney. At this point we never want to deal with Kathleen or U Trust ever again.

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!

1/ 5

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! If you value your items, belongings and how long the final delivery takes to your new location I repeat Do Not Use this moving company! They are unprofessional, rude, low class and will eventually either destroy, lose or steal your items. Kathleen O’Shea the customer rep manager is absolutely the most unprofessional, rude obnoxious person you will deal with. She doesn’t care if items are lost, damaged or you and your family are sitting in a hotel room for days waiting for your household belongings. The drivers, packing helpers are the extremely low class and without any manners! Again DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!

U-TRUST = U-LOSE. THIS HAS TO BE THE WORST MOVING COMPANY IN HISTORY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BY FAR THE WORST I'VE EVER COME ACROSS

1/ 5

Before I get into my long ordeal, key things to be known: This company is actually the same company as OASIS. They pick up your stuff and move it to a storage facility that is not temperature controlled and then later on load it on a truck to get it to you. They misquote. And if you ever have to deal with Kathleen save yourself the headache and stress. She is RUDE and says she is the highest person in the company so her word is the law. I would give -5 stars if I could.
so Initially I submitted a request for moving quotes online for an 8×10 storage unit from California to Tennessee. I chose this company of all the calls I received strictly because Nikki seemed to be the most knowledgeable and promised and assured me they were not like other moving companies and warned me about possible scammers and non accredited moving companies and told me horror stories about people not receiving their items and being charged extra. She then followed up with a few emails checking in to see how my search was coming along. I felt like she had excellent customer service skills and was confident that she was telling the truth when she assured me that if I used U-Trust moving company it would be the most ideal situation and price for my move. She was very helpful until I paid my deposit. After that I never heard from her anymore. Closer to my move date I started calling the office trying to get an exact date and time and I was told Nikki couldn’t help me because she was just the salesperson. I was directed to speak to Crystal who was also very nice but she wasn’t much help. Every time I called she didn’t know anything and didn’t have any information. Finally 3 days before my original move date I called and demanded an answer as I needed to know when to take time off work to be there for the move. I was told I would get a call the following day. Never got the call. I called again got told the same thing. Finally the night before the move I got a call at 11:40pm at night (luckily I work nights so this wasn’t a problem for me to get a late night telephone call) from the “dispatcher” Virgil, who told me they would be at my storage unit the following morning by 8:00am. That morning I got off work…Rushed straight to the storage unit and waited in my car until 10:18am when the driver finally arrived. Very nice and polite and apologized over and over again saying he got stuck in traffic etc. So even though I was extremely agitated at this point he killed me with kindness so I didn’t complain. He said he was waiting for his “partners” (hired day laborers) to get the move started. In the meantime I took him to the storage unit at which time he proceeded to tell me how great and professional my items had been packed so he wouldn’t be charging additional for packing (because I was already charged a couple hundred for packing and materials which was to include blankets to keep my furniture from being scratched) but he was going to have to charge an additional $1000.00 because of additional cubic feet that wasn’t originally quoted correctly. And I don’t know anything about cubic feet but I did know I was specifically quoted for an 8X10 storage unit. So I called the company spoke to Nikki who was able to lower the price to only an additional $470 and at that point I was stuck because it was last minute and other movers were going to charge rush fees and other fees. (I sat in the parking lot and called multiple companies before I agreed to let them take my stuff). So reluctantly I agreed under the pretense that that was it. there would be no more additional charges not at pick up nor at drop off. Nikki agreed and sent me an email stating that was final cost all inclusive and price would not go up anymore. So the driver changed my paperwork. at 12:00pm his helpers still had not arrived so he was just sitting waiting for them. He told me I could go home and that he’d call me once the move was done since I was running on no sleep and had to be back at work that evening. At 3:00pm he called me and needed me to come sign paperwork. I was under the impression they were done. I got to the storage unit and found that they had only just started to load my items. But I signed the paperwork anyways and he told me he’d text me once the move was done. And he did so at 6:30pm that night. By which point I was already back to work. I was told id be receiving a call within 3 days to confirm my drop off date. 3 days came and went and nothing. Once again I was directed to speak to Crystal who shocker once again had no information. After a few times of bugging her she gave me the dispatchers number who told me my stuff would be arriving in Tennessee in approximately 5 days. After having my stuff for 17 days and still not hearing any new information I called Crystal to complain who at this time finally decided to inform me that the company had 18 business to deliver my stuff by law and the day they picked it up didn’t count and 4th of July was in the mix of the whole thing so that my stuff would not arrive until July 30th. on the 19th day (Sunday July 21st) I got a call from the diver who said my stuff would be there the next day on Monday. Then Monday he called and had electrical issues and had hit traffic so wouldn’t be there until Tuesday and demands i have cash ready to pay him because he doesn’t take cards. I didn’t complain because I was getting my stuff a whole week earlier than anticipated. The driver arrives on Tuesday afternoon and immediately demands more money for stairs and also a long carry fee because he came into the parking lot the wrong way and didn’t feel like dealing with turning the truck around. I kindly explain that I have an email from Nikki saying that my price wouldn’t go up any further. He explains that he’s a separate entity and that the fees are valid and that if I’m not going to pay them he wont be offloading. So i ask him to give me a few minutes while i get ahold of the company. When i do conveniently Nikki is unavailable and once i explain the urgency they give me her cell number which she doesn’t answer and asks me to text her so i do. And what do you know? she cant do anything about it i have to pay the fee or call and deal with Kathleen. Since i have this email from nikki, I’m thinking this is going to be an easy fix. LORD was I WRONG!! The driver is standing in front of me in my apartment tapping his foot anxiously waiting cause this has now taken longer than a minute. Kathleen gets on the phone very bothered and very aggressive. I calmly explain the situation. She laughs and says I’m lying that no such email from Nikki exists. When I offer to forward it to her she says “No NO No! If you want your stuff pay the fees. DONE!” I ask to speak to her manager she says she is the manager I tell her no I would like to speak to whoever is higher than her she starts laughing again and says there’s no one higher than her. I tell her there’s no way she can be the manager. Mind you the entire time she’s yelling at me the driver is standing in front of me listening because I have her on speaker. She then proceeds to tell me off and tells me she’s done talking to me that I’m stupid and I’m a liar and that I’m rude and disrespectful. I ask her how and tell her she’s been the only one acting up in this conversation. she continues talking over me screaming at me I literally start crying out of frustration and tell her to stop talking to me like I’m a 2 yr old and she’s my mother. She proceeds to tell me to shut my filthy mouth. At which point the driver takes my phone from me and gets on the line with her and is telling her to treat customers better. She proceeds to tell him he’s lying and that he’s not the driver. He starts screaming at her so bad neighbors came out threatening to call the cops. The property manager showed up to make sure everything was ok. It was a complete disaster. Kathleen finally hung up on the driver at which time he yelled at me and told me to just pay the fees. And called his dispatcher who got on the line and told me the same thing. He told me to pay the fees and dispute it with the company later otherwise they would be taking my stuff back and would have to reschedule the delivery for another few weeks out. So i gave in paid the fees at which time 2 random men showed up at my door claiming they were day laborers that had been hired for the day to move my stuff. They got with the driver and started offloading. All of my items came banging in and falling of the dolly down the stairs. Nothing was covered in blankets like the company had promised. Everything was scratched severely or broken completely. Boxes were completely smashed in half others were torn and retaped. My mattress and box spriong which had been individually shrink wrapped and then put in heavy duty mattress bags for extra protection before it was picked up came in being drug across the ground the outside bag completely missing and half of the shrink wrap gone. Mattress torn and stained. Box spring fabric torn and exposing wood slats inside. It was a complete disaster. The guys check the truck and ensure me nothing else on the truck is mine. As I’m closing the door to lock up and start working on unpacking all three men come back to my door and the driver very aggressively says he needs to inspect and literally pushes right past me and all 3 men are now standing in my home staring at me. As a female alone with 2 daughters in my home, you can imagine the fear and intimidation at this point. I’m 2000 + miles away from anyone I know. The driver demand I sign a paper in order for them to leave so I do so as I just want them out of my home. My hands were shaking so bad i could hardly sign. He then asks “anything for the hard working men?” i said no and he just shook his head. As soon as they walked out i triple locked the door and all windows to my home. (I know this sounds very dramatic but these were just random men hired for the day with no background checks. And didn’t look like the nicest of men). Still to this day i have no idea what I signed. I then proceeded to start unpacking and immediately noticed stuff was missing. I contacted the driver who assured me it was not on his truck. Dreadingly I called the company and was told to call the next morning. The next morning i called and once again I had to deal with Kathleen who wouldn’t help me and wouldn’t transfer me anywhere else. She said my only option was to email her stating I had damaged and lost items. So i did so. She waited a day or so then responded and said she would start a trace search for my missing items and that if I didn’t hear from her by 3:00 pm July 31st assume my items were lost and not to contact her any sooner than August 1st for a claim form. August 1st came and went. Nothing from Kathleen. So I emailed asking for a claim form. While waiting for a response from Kathleen i got a call from the storage facility in which my stuff had originally been picked up stating that after trying to track down the owner via surveillance footage they had come to the conclusion that they believe they found some of my items. They read me the lot number of the stickers that the moving company had placed on my boxes to identify my lot and as i compared them to my original invoice sure enough they matched. and the description matched as well. I told the storage facility the movers must have left them on accident and the girl laughed and said “oh this was no accident. We have them on camera wheeling your stuff to another end of the building and walking away. Then coming back to it a while later looking at it and touched it then shrugged his shoulders and through his hands up like EH not my problem and walked away.” So i contacted Kathleen letting her know my items had been found and asked how she wanted to proceed with getting these items back to me. She sent me a claim form for lost and damaged items. I asked if the claim form was going to get my “found” items shipped to me. After 2 unanswered emails I filed a claim with BBB of southern Nevada and also filed a claim with https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov which is the governing DOT office for moves that cross over state lines. U-Trust Moving hasn’t responded to either request to settle the situation. So I very politely called them again yesterday only to be transferred to Kathleen AGAIN!! And again she was rude and absolutely no helo and told me i was crazy and a liar and that since I chose to file complaints with BBB U-Trust moving would not be helping me any further with getting my items back and was told that I should have waited for them to do their job when i explained that I went according to her timeline she just said “OH well not my problem. I don’t have to answer to you or the BBB. You’re not my boss. You’re crazy and delusional. I’m hanging up now.” After multiple attempts to reach anyone besides Kathleen and an hour worth of time waiting on hold only to be transferred to Kathleen every time I finally gave up (at one point she even got on the line and pretended to be someone named Beverly the office manager who doesn’t even exist). I will be filing a lawsuit against this company. I would recommend nobody ever use this company EVER. U-Trust = U-Lose

If you are moving DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Worst experience I have ever had. At one point my wife and I did not think we would ever see our stuff again. Pricing is a joke the guys who came to pick up our stuff tried to double our quote. Funny thing the truck they came with was smaller than what the cubic quote they said I had. They are a bunch of Scam artist! Anything but a trusting company!

If I could give them negative stars I would! Holy cow such a rip off!! These people will try to extort money out of you any way they can! We were under the impression that our belongings would be picked up on June 27… they finally arrived At 6 pm on June 28. Once they loaded our stuff the driver tried to get more money from us. We refused to pay him.. they offered a month of free storage. Apparently that starts the date they were supposed to pick up and not the date they process it into their facility. Now that we are trying to get something set up for delivery they are trying to extort more money from us, and refusing to release our belongings till we pay the other half of the balance plus extra. Every single person that has spoken to us today has yelled and been rude.. then they get defensive when we get rude back. Sorry, if you’re going to be rude to us, we are gonna be rude back. Trust me, had I seen these reviews before we paid them anything I would never have used this company! They are awful!!!!!!

CRIMINALS

1/ 5

These guys are pure criminals it’s a long story. First they pick up my stuff load it, double the estimate because of two lawn chairs. Ok I say, take them out, he said no we like to keep the full load bsbs. Hour of back and forth until they honor original price and throw the lawn chairs out. The driver says 14 days TOPS. Here I am now. Not sure how long later but it’s been like 3 weeks. They send ONE dude out. Can’t take anything upstairs(so he says). So now all my shit is on the 1st 2nd and 3rd floors. He left kept saying he was in hurry. My contract includes setup. I myself am taking all possible legal action against these guys for breach of contract. Oh and my belongings are in awe full condition my couch is ripped one th broken. Spend the extra thousand now at a reputable mover. If going through U-trust you moar definitely will end up paying it later anyway. Horrible people. May Karma bless them

Terrible company

1/ 5

Under quoted us, drivers called 30 mins before they were supposed to be at my house to tell us they were stuck in traffic 8 hours away from my house. Showed up 9 1/2 hours later, at 730 PM. We had already moved all the furniture to driveway to help speed up the process. When they showed up one of the workers spent the first 2 and a half hours talking on his phone while the other one worked by himself. Finally finished after 2 am.
On delivery the drivers showed up in a 53 foot truck with no ramp or lift gate. A bunch of my furniture was upside down in the truck laying on its top. The movers just started taking stuff and placing it all over my neighbors yard while me and my brother tried to keep taking stuff off my neighbors yard to my house. Then left while there was a pile of my stuff on the yard. Two armoires completely trashed, missing tools, a missing smart TV, most of my boxes soaked in oil, Knicks, cuts, scratches in basically every piece of furniture, broken dishes and lamps. Total cost was twice what was quoted

Believe every 1 star review on here, don’t be fooled by the good reviews. What we learned from our move with these scumbags, only use a reputable company like Mayflower or Bekins or move yourself. You’ll definitely regret it if you use these guys. If a deal seems too good to be true, it is.

WORSTT EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!

1/ 5

I’m left traumatized and will never use a moving company again. All the 5 star reviews are from their employees.

BOOKING: I booked with them after I received a call and they were of course nice upfront until they got my deposit. They will lie and tell you that costs are expected to go up by thousands if you don’t pay deposit that day to lock in price. = LIES (I called back months later and they quoted same price)
PICKUP: When the movers picked up stuff it ended up being over $500 more than they quoted and they already took stuff away before telling us. The movers were rude and pushy.
STORAGE: We opted in to use storage and they promised a certain delivery date that we would be moving into our apartment. When we called on that date the lady on the phone said “Not my problem, we have your stuff!” Because they weren’t delivering it that day. She also called me a “filthy liar” and laughed when I said I was told it would delivered on a certain date. Mind you, My husband and I both took off at our new jobs for that date. I sent the manager a screen shot of the email I received saying I would get it on a certain date and she preceded to call me a liar unapologetically. They ended up calling later that week and said I would get it in 3-5 business days. That didn’t happen either of course.
DELIVERY: We were called a day before the drop off and the driver said he looked up our address on Google Maps and he didn’t want to go in the gate and mess up his truck so we have to rent a Uhaul and do it ourselves. Absolutely disgusting. Our gate was 22 feet wide and his truck was 8 feet wide. We had to call the cops and property manager of our apartment complex to guide and direct them through the gate as they said they would leave without stuff if the Uhaul wasn’t ready.
POST Delivery: Multiple items were damaged and/or premaritally ruined.

1/ 5

Got a quote and the manager Missy Cordell was BEYOND rude after. She called me and emailed me back to back everyday and when i emailed back saying i told her i will not be using them she got an attitude and called me a “liar”. She then told me be careful what i do online asking for quotes. She continued to call me a liar and say “youre so classy” because i used a curse word because she was being very rude to me. She is very unprofessional and turns out she did all this because she thought i couldnt leave a review unless i actually used their service. Very rude and unprofessional. You can find better cheaper and more professional companies that wont be rude to you if you hesitate on using them

This person is not the customer/consumer and has no personal experience with this move or our office. This office did not and has not ever used profanity over the telephone. The person writing this review was not present on phone call and has no personal knowledge of it. As to not driving up to the driveway the truck could not make it into that area and the customer refused to pay shuttle and chose to move their own items at delivery.

This customer/consumer’s amount stayed the same all the way through. This customer decided they did not want shuttle service and actually paid no extra. In fact, this customer/consumer actually paid less then total estimate due to additional discount.

This customer/consumer is mistaken in their recollection of this move. Each an every time the customer/consumer called she was given an update on what day of the 1-18 business day timeframe she was in. as to being yelled at, that is just not something that occurred. This customer/consumer was very impatient and rude with staff every time she called in.

Worst customer service and moving company ever!!!

1/ 5

The quotes are very inaccurate, you’ll end up paying way more and they won’t deliver on time… you’ll receive an email with the “first available date” that totally differs from the requested timeframe.

On the last payment (that’s when they deliver your belongings) the demand CASH or MONEY ORDER ONLY ! If you request an explanation on why , they would rudely yelle at you and the idiot that is a the manager she will tell you “because im in charge “ WTH?!

The guys that loaded my stuff we’re nice , I hope I receive my personal belonging intact and well taken care” my recommendation is do lot hire these people. They have no concept of what customer service is, very unprofessional service and expensive. The customer service has a very poor demeanor and vulgar vocabulary.

DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY TELL YOU, THEY WILL YELL AT YOU TOO

1/ 5

They are the worst company I ever experienced in my whole life.

I didn’t have any furniture so I decided to use binding moving which is a lot cheaper.
I don’t mind even if it take longer than usual because I know I am paying less.
However, the problem is they give you incorrect information until you items are picked up. Once they pick up your items, they are so rude. It is beyond what you can imagine!
YES! THEY ARE SO RUDE AND THEY CUT YOUR SENTENCES WHEN YOU ARE TALKING, THEY ARE JUST THE RUDDEST PEOPLE I EVER HAD DEAL WITH.

I was told that it takes 3-5 days, not only the lady who I booked with (her name was Missy) also, the driver who showed up 2 days later than the pick up date I set, also clearly told me that it takes 3-5 days! After my items got picked up, it took 4 days for them to process the payment, (they intentionally delay the payment) and claims that it takes 18 business days after your payment is received.

Of course, they ask for more money when they come out to pick up your items.
I thought I was going to have 3-40 boxes. But I ended up having 70 boxes so I called even before drivers came to pick up. I honestly led them know that my items are more than I first told them. they charged my 300 more dollars and I thought that was generous. But of course, the driver comes out to pick up and charged 500 more dollars. He doesn’t tell you how much he is going to charge until your items are completely loaded to the truck where you can’t complain since they got your items.

I am upset that they lie to you, and when you call to find out the information, they are so rude, they don’t let you finish your sentence. And when I stated that I was told that it takes 3-5 days to deliver, she literally yelled at me that “They are wrong and they don’t know anything!” but are “They” your employee? or a broker who books for you and you pay the commission??? Well…they are not MY EMPLOYEES…you better train your staffs better to inform better next time.

I didn’t mind having my items to be delivered after 18 business day, but I would like to be informed about it accordingly so I can plan myself accordingly.

I have 2 kids and I lived in my new home without anything for 3 weeks now.
UNBELIEVABLE!

OH, yes, I called like 2 weeks later just to find out around when I would expect my items because I would buy some stuff if it will take another week and a half….
I called very politely and even before I say anything, I was yelled at again that it will take 18 business day and your driver will call you so don’t call until you receive a call from the driver.

Yup, you have to shut up and wait, do not inquire anything until your driver calls you like in 18 business days

Don't walk away – RUN!!!!!!

1/ 5

The owner HENRY is a complete POS who will let your stuff sit on his truck for 1-2 months, however long he feels like it, before finally having the truck make the 1-2 week drive to your new location – you will be left agonizing over your belongings while Henry hangs up the phone in your face when you call to find out how much longer. Henry will LIE and tell you the truck is going to be there ANY day while the more honest drivers will tell you they are still a few weeks away. Henry is a SCAM ARTIST and a user of his customers. He needs to be locked up for his scams.

Do NOT use this company unless you want to deal with the rudest, incompetent, most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I am saying company, not just moving company. They will not do everything they promise and you will pay more in the end than you were quoted. Beware! In fact in my opinion you should not even consider this company. I have filed reports with the National Movers Assoc. and with the Department of Transportation.

Any other option would be better

U-Trust Moving is untrustworthy. My family is going through a medical crisis with my grandfather so we needed to move his possessions across country from Nevada to Tennessee. We were originally quoted $1600 and ended up paying over $3000. Customer service was incredibly rude to my mother who, when asking where the moving truck was as she knew they were driving through bad weather, was told to, “…read her contract and not to be shitty over the phone.” When the truck arrived, they refused to drive up our driveway and we had to unload everything into our cars and rush home with them over multiple trips to try and not be charged more for taking more of their time. Several items are broken, including picture frames, plates and niknaks. You’re better off renting a U-haul and doing things yourself.

How about now Missy, did that clear up who you ripped off??? Now you just ignore the reviews? Your company is a joke!!! nothing but liars and thieves.

They tried to do the same thing to us as soon as they walked into the door. All their thieving driver could see was 2 sofas and a sectional. He immediately stated that this would cost way more and raised the price from $6200.00 to $10,000!!! And they stole all of my wife’s watches and Tiffany jewelry along with a number of rings and chains

Exactly what they did to us. Stole all of my wifes watches, her Tiffany silver (quite a bit) and a number of her grandmothers rings. Never a phone call returned. Still missing a number boxes along with 2 full sets of silverware.

RUN AWAY!! 0 STARS

1/ 5

Customer service is a joke, from answering the phones to the customer service department. I was not told of prices or that the deposit was non refundable, so when they were 4 hours late I was told I was being inappropriate for asking to cancel and get my depo back.
A transit company, as customer service told me, deals with things like traffic that are out of their control… but one would think that thats something they would take into account when scheduling their drivers so they are on time, with in the arrival window…. oh but just so you know, their window of arrival is “not a promise”… what ever does that mean? After the late arrival, the driver trying to charge me an extra $1000 “just in case” and more packing charges that were not told to me, most of my stuff arrived a few weeks later. Of course it was the priceless heirloom that was missing and customer service again can not care less. From the rude, and threatening to hang up on you, to the unwarranted extra charges- RUN! and don’t look back!

A Happy Customer

5/ 5

You have truly been amazing! Thank you so very much for everything, you were one of the few people we could trust to get back with us quickly and accurately during this whole relocation nightmare. We’d love to leave a glowing compliment about you and the company.
Thank you again for everything,

Izzy & Jenn

The customer did not disclose all the inventory list of items to move. This was booked at 795 CF and the shipment was 1300 CF. If a full inventory was told to the reservation agent, this would not have happened. Please disclose all your details to your agent at booking.

Avoid at all costs!!!

1/ 5

This company, U Trust Moving is absolutly the worst! Liars, thieves and as dishonest as the devil. They were somehow given the job of moving us from AZ. to GA. No communication from day one. The so-called “customer service Representative” named Katheen was horrific! Rude, condescending and a complete and total “C”. Lied at every turn, hung up on us, had such an incredibly bad attitude, words can’t describe her.The “drivers” came late, walked in the house, (which was all packed but the big furniture items) and immediately stated it would cost another $4000.00 to get us moved!!!. I told my wife to dismiss this loser right there on the spot but she negotiated a price with them that she/we could afford. They then promptly left to “go to lunch”. Two hours laetr they returned to then take their time and litter the driveway with empty cups and countless cigarette butts. When they were a quarter of the way done, they announced that they had timed out and would be back at 8:00 a.m. The next day they didn’t arrive at 8:00, the wife called them and got the excuse that the time difference had caused them to over sleep. Upon arrival an hour later, they again took their time and at 3:00 p.m. they placed all the remaining items in the house in the driveway. At that point they told my wife they had to go empty the truck because they had run out of room and were also going to the buffet for lunch. They told my wife she could leave to head to GA. and they would be back soon to finish up. The wife waited for them to return, they returned at 7:00! People were driving by thinking the items in the driveway were free, one person even tried to load up a mattress. They had only emptied enough of the truck to place the rest of the items in the truck. When the wife asked where our belongings were going to be stored (originally told they would be promptly brought to GA. and placed in storage) they refused to tell her, said”call customer service to find out”. When the date rolled around for our delvery they tol us the had 21 days from the first available drop off date to get them to us per D.O.T. regulations. Our belongings were then trucked to Las Vegas and then loaded on an independent trailer/truck belonging to a driver from Brooklyn N.Y. that company was called 4U Logistics.(917-653-1474) Problem there is that the two “customer service representatives told us the delay was caused by their driver “being on vacation”. When I asked the driver when he finally showed up (late) how was his vacation, he had no idea what I was talking about ans told us he only dropped off the trailer and then picked it back up. He was in no way an employee of U Trust. When he opened the side doors to have a local moving crew unload the truck, all the boxes were either crushed, slanted, falling over or upside down. The large items (leather sectional, couches) were completely unwrapped, (they never were wrapped to begin with) The amount of damaged items is staggering. Cute in the upholstery, damaged wood on the dressers and chairs, torn fabric on accent chairs, items just ramdomly tossed about, (boxes totally missing that they were packed in) The driver playing dumb as far as the way the truck was loaded, had no clue what was suppose to be in the truck to begin with. Currently there are still a dozen boxes unaccounted for and the standard answer from U Trust is (with attitude) is that we are looking for them now. WTH???!!! Worst moving experience I/we have ever experienced. Literally every piece of large furniture is damaged. The original company we contacted was named Pricing Van Lines, (800-814-4884) they are just a shipping broker, they never informed us of that fact. They have given the same lame answers as the actual fly by night outfit located in Las Vegas. This issue is far from over. Currently there are three different Attorney General offices involved along with the D.O.T. Do yourself a favor and skip over all three of the entities that were involved with our “move”. Horrible customer service, liars from the get go and now they are getting harder and harder to reach by phone or email. Avoid at all costs.

WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE

1/ 5

I was moving from California to Nevada and was scheduled for pickup for a state to state move. The MOVERS NEVER SHOWED UP!!! Customer Service, Kathleen O’Shea is the absolute worst! She never offered a refund and basically yelled at me for asking for one. The movers never showed up and this company wouldn’t give me my deposit back for services that were never rendered!!! I had to come up with my own means within less than a day. Never call this place they don’t return phone calls!!!

Damaged items

1/ 5

We were surprised when the movers arrived last Saturday and told us the expense would be much more due to extra packing supplies and other special fees. We paid $800 more than quoted. Then yesterday on day of delivery, they came 3 hours later than the time they gave us. Did not let us know they wouldn’t be coming during that time. Several items were damaged in the move, including TV stand, computer desk, dresser, and nightstands. The TV stand is broken to the point that it is unusable.

Worst ever! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Horrible customer service from Kathleen, and either Terrance or Adrian (drivers) actually urinated in public at the storage facility when they were picking u. Also left broken glass and trash.

1/ 5

First Kathleen in Customer Service hung up on me twice, then she hung up on my roommate. I was hesitant to use this company, but was given reassurance by both Kathleen and Missy that this is a reputable company in good standing with the Nevada BBB.. The moving crew did not arrive the day they were supposed to. Adrian and Terrance arrived yesterday, and finally picked up everything from my storage unit, then picked here at the condo. They assured me that they had swept out the storage unit, and that there was no trash left behind. This morning I received an email from Eileen with So Cal Self Storage notifying me that there was broken glass and trash left behind, and that one of the movers had jumped out of the truck, gone very close to her apartment, and urinated on a trailer one of her tenants was renting. They set off alarms, and the police were called. I did not personally see the unit. They picked up at the storage facility first, then came to the condo for the rest of my belongings. When they were done, they added over $400.00 to the total price of my move on top of everything. I tipped both drivers $50.00 each based on their word that they had cleaned out and swept the unit. I also had no knowledge of the horrible behavior displayed by one of the drivers. WORST EVER!!! BOO to Kathleen, Terrance, and Adrian. Now I am also being charged an additional $50.00 by So Cal Self Storage for the cleanup. I left 1 star rating because it didn’t give me the option of leaving ZERO STARS!!!

Can U-Trust them Moving

3/ 5

Didn’t keep their word about moving date. These people told me they’d be there a certain date then showed up at 10 am the next day, had me waiting half the night ! Then they said my items were too bulky for the quote I had (I lived in a small one bedroom and had accurately listed all items on inventory ) and raised the cost from $1700 to $2300. I was going to flat cancel and get a uhaul so they backed down to 2k. After that I received my items with damage and I was told to contact the company and they would have insurance pay. I haven’t tried to get the damage compensation yet because these people don’t answer emails or return phone calls. I’m pretty unhappy with the whole process and really wish I had done a uhaul

U-Trust Moving 5 – Star

5/ 5

When we talk of promise keeper, I give it to U-Trust Moving. It all started when my husband put a call across to them. U-Trust Moving promised to come for inspection the second day, and after this, the company submitted a quote for our move. It wouldn’t have been better than that…the quote was affordable and came with other support to make our move smoother. In the course of our discussion, they gave us some tips to reduce our moving cost, and all I can say is “thank you” for went beyond business in dealing with us. The good thing about U-Trust Moving is that they keep to their words. I am glad to give you a 5-star review.
