Our story is very unique and different. Rent A Green Box started from my own personal experience packing and moving my home office five years ago. I spent well over $800 bucks on packing materials and couldn’t find a cheaper alternative at the time. 2 days after my move, I gave away most of the used boxes and ended up with a huge pile that nobody wanted. I tossed these dead boxes into my car and drove them to a landfill. I was shocked to see the mountains of cardboard trash and waste created from just moving. That same day, I noticed piles of these bright colored plastic bottles and picked up a few and thought to myself “Self,why don’t we use this plastic trash to make a better moving box.” That was 5 years ago and since that time, I have developed over 13 other unique, earth friendly packing and moving products that have changed the entire moving industry. We’ve also won countless awards like the Governor’s Environmental Leadership Award and Small Biz of the State of California.
