PLEASE "DO NOT USE THIS HORRIBLE SCAM ARTIST COMPANY". If i could give it minus 10 stars i would. They are good with communication until they get their deposit. Moving day was just excuses after excuses. Moved to next day, again excuses after excuses and lies after lies. Now all of a sudden they pulled the Covid card. Not answering calls, Office never answers and the guy that i was dealing with, Arthur just ignores the calls. They are the most horrible company i have ever delt with. Again please "DO NOT USE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY". there are a lot of good honest companies out there, This one is definitely NOT good nor honest. Once i kicked them out and refused to let them in and advised them that i had contacted my Attorney, all of a sudden they kept calling with please sir, there is no need to get an Attorney involved, and wow all of a sudden Arthur calls. the business bureau are also going to be notified. Now i have to fight to get my $1200 deposit back. well my attorney has advised that we will go for the deposit and the cost of hiring a new company.
They called me about my move from Denver, Co to Arkansas. I told them what i had what was needed for the move. They gave me a price and said they would be there to pack and load on a given date. The day of the move, a company showed up, Green Planet Movers. I was never told that they were going to subcontract the move. They showed up the last day of the month when i needed to get out of my condo. The guys walked in and said the price that was quoted was not enough and it was going to cost me over $6,000 dollars to get myself moved. If i did not except the amount they would leave, which would have cost me more to find someone else. I called Power Pack and they said go ahead and except price and they would credit back my payment to them. They lied and never credit back. Green Planet caused over $2000 worth of damages and would only pay me $150. Both these companies will scam you for everything you got and leave you hanging.
Worked with Stacey, had a contract for pickup July 28th, drivers never showed, never answered our calls and eventually blocked our number. Stacey stopped answering our calls, main office stopped answering our calls- the one time I was able to speak with someone in billing, they said they were 'having trouble' refunding the money, though they had no trouble taking the money, and that was the last information I had. Now the website is down and won't pull up, the phone number goes to an automatic voicemail, different from the one they had before, and we are filing a small claims suit.
THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS!! They quoted me a price of $10k to move some merchandise from Cali to NY. They made ME BELIEVE that their company handled everything from END-END (I specifically asked). They outsourced my job to another company! POWER PACK'S OWNER MARVIN & ROD &, DISPATCH SUPERVISOR BRIAN CARILLO promised to reimburse me for half of the cost for private CARGO INSURANCE that I purchased for the move and I never received it. THEY STOLE MY DEPOSIT MONEY under false pretenses. To add insult to injury the company that they outsourced my job to, threatened to keep my merchandise if I didn't pay CASH during the drop-off and that the new rate was $13,500 where $10,500 was due at delivery! After going back and forth with POWER PACK MOVING AND STORAGE, it was obvious that I was stuck if I wanted my merchandise back. THE company that they outsourced to, hired mexicans from HOME DEPOT to help load the merchandise. NEEDLESS TO SAY, MANY OF MY ITEMS WERE DAMAGED. I FLEW OUT TO CALIFORNIA TO SUPERVISE, my flight arrived late and by the time I arrived to the warehouse, the truck was already improperly loaded. I HAD VERY SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS worked out with the owners of power pack and they completed disregarded that. As a result, all of my merchandise wouldn't fit, COSTING ME even more money in the longrun. SO NOT ONLY WAS I ORIGINALLY QUOTED $10K AND RAISED TO $13,500 BUT I WAS NOW STUCK WITH SOME MERCHANDISE THAT COULDN'T MAKE THE TRIP! I WAS ALSO TOLD BY THE OWNERS THAT I COULD PAY FOR THE ENTIRE MOVE WITH A CREDIT CARD. AFTER THEY HAD EVERYTHING LOADED I WAS TOLD THAT I NEEDED TO HAVE CASH ON THE OTHER END (IN NY) OR I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO RECEIVE MY MERCHANDISE. I PAID THE DEPOSIT VIA CREDIT CARD, AND THE PICK-UP ON CREDIT CARD, WHY COULDN'T I PAY THE BALANCE ON THE CREDIT CARD AS WELL. So I had to beg, borrow and steal, just to get the cash together for my merchandise. THE OUTSOURCED COMPANY'S TRUCK BROKE DOWN ON THE ROAD WHICH DELAYED MY MERCHANDISE FOR AN ADDITIONAL 3 DAYS. WHEN THEY ARRIVED IN NY, THEY NOW HAD TWO TRUCKS. SO THEY UNLOADED SOME OF MY GOODS FROM ONE TRUCK TO ANOTHER SOMEWHERE OVER THE ROAD. HOW MUCH WAS STOLEN IS THE QUESTION? UNBELIEVABLE............ IF YOU'RE READING THIS, PLEASE DON'T TRUST THESE GUYS, GO ELSEWHERE. I DID RESEARCH AFTER THE FACT AND FOUND THAT THESE GUYS HAVE OWNED 5 MOVING COMPANIES AND EVERY TIME THE REVIEWS GET BAD AND COMPLAINTS SWARM IN THRU THE BBB, THEY JUST OPEN UP A NEW BUSINESS WITH A DIFFERENT NAME!! SO DECEITFUL. DO YOUR HOMEWORK, PLEASE.
HORRIBLE COMPANY TO WORK WITH. First know that they are not a real moving company. They are a broker or contractor that finds someone to move your stuff. They lie to you, saying they are a moving company with trucks, telling you your belongings will be never moved from a truck to another or even into a storage unit. Was told it would be put into a cube like reputable moving companies do. Found out all this after they took our belongings. Had a bad feeling when a U Haul showed up. Then the guy in charge said we owed an additional $1000 more with no reason. This was after the guy driving the U Haul left with all our stuff. Had to give him $300 in cash or we wouldn't get our belongings delivered. Felt like they were going to hold our stuff hostage until we paid more then quoted. So they picked our stuff up on 7/19 from Pensacola, FL and was suppose to deliver it on 7/23 in Ohio. WE STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN OUR BELONGINGS! When you call all the numbers on the their websites, no one answers or returns your calls, emails, etc. WE have no idea where our belongings are, if they have been stolen or who is actually moving our stuff. Contacted officials including BBB and federal and state officials.
One of the most horrifying experiences of my life. TOTAL SCAM Be aware you won't know which moving company will be assigned to you prior to signing the contract and paying the deposit. They used CR7 Moving & Storage for my move from New York to Los Angeles. If you Google them, you'll notice that they have 1 STAR reviews all over the place. I wouldn't have signed with them if I knew they were going to use such a bad company. The moving company overcharged me for picking up the same items that I listed and agreed on the binding contract. The items arrived late and on a day when I stated that I would not be home. The items were left on the street unattended. several items and furniture have been completely destroyed. I attempted to have a proper conversation with CR7 and Powerpack, but it was simply impossible. These people are rude and irresponsible, they should simply not be in business and should stop defrauding their customers. And keep in mind that the insurance they sell you only covers $ 0.60 per pound, and as you can see from the pictures, the damage is extensive. Who has had a similar experience, please reach out as these individuals should not be operating under a license. I also discovered that the person who delivered my items and drove the track across the country with my items was not licensed and legal action will follow
