If I could give zero stars I would. Everything went well until the actual move. I had confidence in the company due to their courteous nature. I was assured multiple times my belongings would be well taken care of. "White glove treatment" was used multiple times in communica Fast forward to my belongings arriving: EVERY box and bin was damaged. To the extent of most of the boxes were completely ripped open and re-taped. Every plastic bin was CRUSHED. At least 5, if not every single item in the boxes is damaged. I only moved two actual pieces of furniture. One remained intact. The other is damaged beyond repair. The worst part is these things were my deceased husband's belongings (he passed in January at age 32). Also, the fact that when I called the company, the gentleman I had spoken to often prior to this, who seemed very professional and caring, was a completely different person. He did not seem at all surprised that this happened to me.

I have this as a one star because they were supposed to be here at 10. I am still at my place waiting and have not spoken to Sam, the owner. We confirmed earlier this week and spoke to Sam. He seemed honest. I'm just heartbroken and disappointed that he didn't even have the decency to call me back.

Big Sam moving Co has got a good reputation for good quality service and offers. But sometimes when you are moving at peak hours, it becomes a bit difficult to give everyone a good service. I can understand that but it would be nice if they would also look into that.

I don't know if I just got lucky or that is how they operate but a residential move that took my neighbor 3days to complete with another moving company, I was able to finish mine in a day with the help of Big Sam moving company. They were really quick to respond when I contacted them and it was a very smooth process. I will recommend them but watch out for some of the workers and their attitude!

One good thing I like about Big Sam moving company is that they are the best service providers but they still offer affordable rates to clients. There services are top notch but when you hear the price they charge, you'll begin to wonder if they are for real. But trust me, they are very reliable movers.

If you've moved or planning to move within or outside Jersey City and you are not thinking BigSam, you are still a long way off. These guys are the most popular movers in town and they have got a good reputation for delivering the best service. I'll strongly recommend you give them a try.
