Not deserving of recommendation
This company was contracted by a “broker” out of Nashville, to receive the bid for our business. On the scheduled loading day, they didn’t arrive when scheduled (by the broker). Instead they notified us an hour before their scheduled arrival to say they had broken down and were 2 hrs. away. Second problem; they arrived and charged us additional fee saying they didn’t have enough room on the truck for our shipment. The price we had was based on lesser space. This should have been covered between the two contracting companies. We paid the difference…fast forward shipment didn’t arrive as predetermined. Four days later (in NC) the invoice had an added charge, which their drivers would not unpack truck until payment was received. We wanted clarification from the broker regarding American Pro’s procedure. We spoke with a company supervisor (American Pro) who was EXTREMELY RUDE and refused to speak with the broker to clarify that extra would be paid by them. We paid, as the supervisor said the drivers would take the shipment to a warehouse for storage until resolved. RIDICULOUS!! We paid the extra. However, the broker offered a monetary compensation (not equal to the extra but it was appreciated). The “PRO” does NOT stand for PROFESSIONAL!! They must stay in business on the extra fees they charge. It certainly isn’t via CUSTOMER SERVICE!! UNBELIEVABLY RUDE!!! Note…We did not choose American Pro Movers a broker did. Hope they realize the negative reflection American Pro Movers projects on their selection of moving companies. Maybe they know and overlook it.
