DO NOT USE THIS MOVING SERVICE!!! Their prices seem decent, but once they have your stuff they don't care about getting it to you at all. I gave nearly TWO MONTHS notice for when I'd first be able to receive my stuff, and I STILL haven't heard when my stuff will be delivered. I've called so many times, spoken with different departments, and each time they say "I'll make a note and someone will get back to you." No one ever follows up with any concrete info, leaving me to call again and again. In a week, I'll be paying sky high rent for a unit I can't even live in because of this company. I gave them SO much notice and they don't care. My stuff isn't even IN THIS STATE yet. I'll be paying for cable I can't use because my TV isn't there, and so much more. There has been ZERO respect for my time from this company - not caring that I need to provide 2 weeks notice to my work for when I'll need to be off to move. Not caring that I've been completely left in the dark without my stuff for months. Not taking any action to PLAN AHEAD to deliver my stuff in a timely fashion. THEY DON'T CARE. At this point, I wish I'd rented a Uhaul and moved everything myself. DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY.
They did exactly what was required. No complaints honestly they were fair affordable and did the job with no problems. I would recommend them to someone who is trying to move

I had a great experience moving from Agoura Hills to Woodland Hills with Air1 moving. The staff was very professional and respectful, the whole move was completed in 4 hours which was hard to believe. I will definitely use them for my next move.
If I could provide zero stars or a negative number I absolutely would! The crew that arrived to collect my possessions were friendly, competent, and able to follow instruction. I had my items collected 3 weeks before I moved under the impression that my items would take an average of 15 days to be moved and that they could be stored at their end destination. I called two days before I was due to arrive in my new home across the country and found out my items hadn't even left CA yet. I was given bull shit excuses, like "your items can't leave the state until you're in your new home to receive them..." Uh what logic is that? The point of having it picked up in advance was to be able to meet my items within a day or two of my arrival. They will tell you whatever bull s**t they think you need to hear to get you off the phone, "Yes, a manager will call you back in a couple of hours." Of course that never ever happened, leaving you to follow up and speak to yet another idiotic minion. Upon delivering my items they googled my address and thought the truck would make it into my apartment complex. It did not. So out of my own pocket I had to rent a U-Haul and then they charged me a shady $300+ for them to dump my stuff on the sidewalk and then load it into the U-Haul to then be unloaded at my home. At that point I was just desperate to receive my stuff and get rid of the creep who was delivering it. Also, asking to use my restroom is highly unprofessional, but the least of my worries. I would highly recommend using anyone but this company. My desk arrived broken, my dining table was scratched, and my mattress that was supposed to be shipped flat had been taped into a crumpled heap. Unprofessional all around. I assure you, it would be better to just rent a U-Haul and drive across the country yourself, and probably cheaper. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I actually hired Northern Moving Systems originally, however it was Air 1 Moving & Storage that came. The original estimate with Northern Moving Systems was for 1,887 cf with an estimate of 13,209# for $8692.69. I accepted and paid $2560 deposit. They arrived with a 26 ft BUDGET truck (website indicate truck is for loads up to 1,700 cf of space and a max load up to 10,000#). AIR 1 had no business sending a truck that would not hold all of my items. The driver tells me they can’t fit everything in and so it will cost me more money (and some patio furniture too heavy to take). I am ready to call Northern Moving and he says “We will do it for a flat fee of $15,000 and get everything to WA by Monday”. Took the offer (we were desperate to get moved by a certain date). Paid him half of the $15,000 minus my deposit of $2560 = $12,440 – half of that was $6,220. I believed and trusted this guy! I actually would have been fine paying the $15,000, If both trucks would have arrived on that Monday. The first truck showed up on Tuesday. I paid half of the remaining $6,220 or $3,110. Told me the other half I would pay the next day when the 2nd truck was arriving. The guy tells me on the first truck that he has no tools to put my furniture together. Tells me the 2nd truck is arriving first thig in the morning and they will put it together. (I had bed and large u-shaped desk that needed to be put together) There were several items on the 1st truck that were broken: 1) Expensive pottery 2) Lamp switch 3) Brackets on 3 Drawers of Chest 4) Dresser leg The nightmare started when the 2nd truck did not come that next morning. We were told multiple stories – none of which made sense – either “couldn’t get a hold of driver”; truck had to go back to L.A. (we were moving to WA) Then we were told truck broke down; told our stuff was moved into another truck; told driver now in Texas; another time driver in Arizona; kept leading us on. Never did they call us – we had to call them to find out anything. Our original pick up was a Friday, July 19 and the 2nd truck did not arrive until Tuesday, August 6. We had additional costs because my husband missed an additional week of work; had to change a flight; I had to start a new job an then get time off when they did finally arrive. And, my husband and I finally put the beds together but I had to get 2 guys to come and put my desk together. Again, second truck worse than first in terms of broken items including: 1) Adirondack chair 2) Smoker grill 3) Clothes in wardrobe boxes (dresses and suits) with grease from something else piled on top I have given Air 1 multiple chances to make this right. On the second truck I told them if they waived the final payment it would make up for the inconvenience. Then I asked if they could find me someone to put my furniture together of which they did not. Then I took the time to file the claim, uploaded multiple photos, made the point that it was their fault they brought a truck that was too small in the first place. That they should honor the original quote. None of this would have mattered if they didn't have 2 trucks. The original foreman LIED. He assured me BOTH trucks were going together and would be in WA on Monday. In the end, they offered me $450. Told me to send them my address and they would mail me a check (of which I did). I called to express how unsatisfied I was with their settlement. I feel they did not honor the original quote from Northern Moving Systems and bring the correct size moving truck. Then, after several emails and phone conversations (including one to Northern Moving Systems) about how unsatisfied I was with their settlement, I was ignored (once supervisor implied she would see if they could offer me more but never called back). Finally, I emailed back and told them I never received the check. Today, the email had an attachment to sign as my only claim that would be filed to get the $450. Very disappointed. Do not use them!!
